Life isn’t always easy, but dealing with tricky emotions doesn’t have to be so hard. Try activities from the Girl Scouts: Resilient. Ready. Strong. program to unlock a patch and strengthen your mental wellness. Nobody can snap their fingers and make the world all sunshine and lollipops, but you can take steps to be ready when things get tough. Go get ‘em, Girl Scout!
During our live zoom, we will focus on learning yoga and mindfulness activities. We will complete 3 activities from the activity guide below. Please bring a journal or notebook and something to write with.
Choose the ones that call to you, and give them a try!
To get your patch, you’ll need to complete the following number of activities:
- Daisies and Brownies—3
- Juniors and Cadettes—5
- Seniors and Ambassadors—7
Important Information:
- This course does require some physical activity, participate at your comfort level.
- This course is roughly 60 minutes and will cover all badge requirements for Daisy and Brownies.
- The badge is not included, please purchase from your local Girl Scout Council.
- All live zooms start on-time, you will need a quiet open space with a little room to move around.
- We do not accept late zoom arrivals for yoga events, it is not safe for students to start in the middle without properly warming up.
- A yoga mat is not required.
- Price is per Girl Scout.
