Virtual and Self-Paced Jeweler Patch

Jewelry is a beautiful accessory that can highlight your natural beauty and make you feel more confident.  When you design and make your own jewelry, your accessory options are nearly endless. You can learn simple and exciting techniques on how to make jewelry from the comfort and convenience of your home with our DIY Jewelry Kit.  The course teaches a brief history of jewelry, how your jewelry blanks were designed and made and how to create each item in your kit.  The kit includes: a set of football dangle earrings and trinket dish.  The kit is complete with all supplies needed.  We do recommend:

• pair of needle nose pliers to help secure hardware pieces
• scissors
• paper towels

• To purchase, please select the color(s) you wish your kit to be (you can choose up to two colors: red, blue, green, gold, black, white, purple, pink, orange.
• You can choose to add an additional: dangle earring set or trinket dish to your purchase.  These make great gifts.

FUNDRAISER OPPORTUNITY

Purchase the Football wooden blank and have Girl Scouts make the earrings to sell. These DO NOT come with the supplies needed to complete the earrings. We will provide a supply list upon purchase. You will receive 15 wooden blank earring sets (30 wooden blanks total). If you are in need of more, please email for pricing and questions.  Earrings sell for $10 – $15 per set depending on your area.

• Your kit will not come put together or painted.
• This kit will have small pieces that are a choking hazard
• Includes Apple Barrel acrylic paint
• Hypoallergenic earring hardware
• Includes a liquid bonding adhesive with warning label (adult use only)

Parents and/or guardians are responsible to provide supervision at all times for this course and kit activity. Please be aware that there are small components included in this craft kit, please monitor this activity especially if there are infants or toddlers in the area. Please be aware of any allergies to wood, acrylic, paint, glue and metal from jewelry hardware.  Vine Images, INC is not responsible for injuries, allergies, and/or misuse of the supplies provided.

Important Information:

• Adult supervision and participation required, participate at your comfort level.
• This course is roughly 60 minutes and will cover all badge requirements.
• The badge is not included, please purchase from your local Girl Scout Council.
• All live zooms start on-time, you will need a quiet open space with a little room to move around.
• Supplies provided, except needle nose pliers
