Everyone has million-dollar ideas, but people rarely act on those thoughts. Sometimes, all you need is an out of the world thought, some great marketing skills and someone to believe in you to bring that idea to life. Girl Scouts, we are going to learn how to bring a business concept to reality and the one thing every successful entrepreneur has in common. Join Pam, founder of Vine Images, INC as she walks you through real life experiences and techniques used to become an entrepreneur. Submit your business pitch to Vine Images for review after your course.
You will prepare to open a wood craft business by sketching an idea, improving it and learning what it takes to make the real thing. This is the perfect holiday business! You can even take it a step further and make a real Welcome sign using our Wood Letter kits, link below. (Cost start at $20 and you will need a few more supplies to complete). The Kit includes the purchase of this course.

DIY Welcome letter sign kit (Optional)
Theses make great homemade gifts, fundraisers and personal touches to your porch. We only include the wood letters in this kit due to the cost of shipping the large board and the variety of stain and paint options available to you. The completed project retails for $55 per sign.
Cost: $20 per kit ($15 per kit bulk orders of 5 or more)

Supplies Needed:
- 10″ x 48″ Wood Board (Lowes or Home Depot)
- Stain or Paint for Board
- Stain or Paint for Welcome Letter’s
- Wood Glue
- Paint brush or foam brush
Optional:
- Exterior Polyurethane (if your project will sit out in the elements)
Zoom:
- If you miss the zoom, a pre-recording will be available. After the zoom you will need to pitch your idea.
- Zoom is roughly 45 mins – 1 hour

Important Information:
- This course does require some crafting, participate with adult supervision.
- This course is roughly 2 hours and will cover all badge requirements for your Girl Scout level.
- The badge is not included, please purchase from your local Girl Scout Council.
- All live zooms start on-time, you will need a quiet open space with a little room to move around.
