If you are ready to level up your DIY Kits and reach a new audience, think about offering courses. This is a great way to add a new level of income but also connect with future and repeat clients. It’s one thing to get your product in front of people, but connecting on a personal level is much more valuable for future sales. I only teach virtually through zoom, but you could also offer in person workshops for locals.
To teach virtually you will need a few extra supplies to make it easier to teach your students. If they can’t see what you are doing, it may be difficult for them to follow along.
Overhead Camera
This is a great document camera I use during live zooms or even filming for youtube videos that teach painting or detailed projects best viewed from above. It is simple to use, plug and go. I use on a Mac.
Ring Light
Any good video will need a good light supply. I use this ring light for EVERYTHING. When I am working and need additional light, videos, pictures, zooms…It moves around my studio all day.

Wireless Mic
This kit is perfect to keep your volume steady during live zooms or even recording videos. Using the computer speakers can alter the sound of recordings when the fan comes on. It is not a plug and go kit, you will need an extra piece of plug it into your mac.
Webcam
This is a high quality webcam. I mainly use it to yoga classes so I can place it further away than my computer. It offers a better live stream than the built in camera on my computer. I would recommend this once you are established and have the extra money to spend. If you are on a budget, stick with your built in computer camera.
